- Right-click Start, and then click Device Manager.
- Double-click Network adapters to expand the section.
- Right-click the Ethernet Controller with the exclamation mark and select Properties.
- Go to Details tab, and then click Hardware IDs. Highlight and copy the first ID.
- Use your web search engine to search the Hardware ID, and then identify the associated adapter.
- Search for your adapter in the Download Center to find the latest drivers available to install.
- Click Start > Control Panel > System and Security.
- Under System, click Device Manager.
- Double-click Network adapters to expand the section.
- Right-click the Ethernet Controller with the exclamation mark and select Properties.
- Go to Details tab, and then click Hardware IDs. Highlight and copy the first ID.
- Use your web search engine to search the Hardware ID, and then identify the associated adapter.
- Search for your adapter in the Download Center to find the latest drivers available to install.
